A Call for JSPS Japanese-German Graduate Externship participants-Short Term Exchange Program

Nagoya Institute of Technology calls for Doctor’s students (D1) who like to participate in the JSPS Japanese-German Graduate Externship “Energy Conversion Systems: From Materials to Devices” between NITech and FAU. Successful applicants will participate in the FAU-NITech school on Energy systems, special Joint seminars, receive joint research supervision and more!

A Call for JSPS Japanese-German Graduate Externship participants

Nagoya Institute of Technology calls for enthusiastic Doctor’s students (D1) who like to participate in the Cotutell program, a binational doctoral degree program between NITech and FAU.  Successful applicants will join the FAU-NITech school on Energy systems and participate in special Joint seminars, research externship at FAU and receive joint research supervision. The program is under JSPS Japanese-German Graduate Externship “Energy Conversion Systems: From Materials to Devices” between NITech and FAU starting in October 2019.

JSPS JGGE was successfully accepted

Nagoya Institute of Technology is happy to announce that Japanese-German Graduate Externship (JGGE) was officially accepted by JSPS, followed by the acceptance of German counterpart program, International Research Training Group (IRTG) by DFG earlier this month. The establishment of IRTG-JGGE program between FAU and NITech will continue to strengthen the long-standing partnership and expand collaborative activities between two universities.
Official start of the JGGE is October 2019. The program runs for 5 years (Extendable for additional 4 years).

DFG IRTG was successfully accepted

We are pleased to receive good news from our FAU colleagues that International Research Training Group (IRTG) “Energy Conversion Systems: From Materials to Devices” was accepted by DFG. NITech has submitted a proposal for Japanese counterpart program, Japanese-German Graduate Externship (JGGE) to JSPS. Acceptance of both programs will enable FAU and NITech to carry out the joint research and educational program.
